For several years I have not been able to follow ordinary conversation when background noise was involved.
I also had problems hearing some people with soft or high pitched voices. Now that I have a small hearing
device from KV Hearing Centre I am hearing well in all circumstances. The examination, the fitting and the
follow up were all conducted in a sensitive and friendly atmosphere. I would not hesitate to recommend this
Centre to anyone having similar problems.

In February 2007 I made the decision to do something about my situation. After many discussions with my
wife about my listening skills coupled with hearing struggles in group settings I decided to call Rhonda Finlay’s
office.  She took me through a needs assessment to measure my need but an important thing for me was what
I learned about myself (men in general). It was usual to be in denial for 6-7 years before acting. I had been
tested 6 years earlier but vanity got in the way. In March of 2007 I took delivery of my two new aids and since
then I have had regrets about what perhaps I have missed during those years. Since then Rhonda took me
out of a panic situation when I lost one of my aids in the Montreal Airport. She had it replaced at 15% of the
original cost. I am now scheduled to have my aids checked out at the factory before the warranty expires. All
of these things add value to the service she provides” If you are in denial, call Rhonda.

In December I went for a Hearing Test at the KV Hearing Centre.  I knew there was something wrong when I had
the results I was stunned. I had a loss of 40% in one ear and 50% in the other, I cried.

So with Rhonda who was very helpful and encouraged me, and with the help of my husband Norbert and family I
decided to go ahead with a hearing aid.

December 21, 2009 was the day.  I was scared. I was self conscious as to how it would look to other people, but
with the guidance of Rhonda, she made the process a life changing event. When I got home I went for a walk, for
the first time in a long while a heard the sounds of people voices, and the birds singing.  When I go to church I
can understand the priest, and when my grandchildren visit I can hear there lovely voices.

I should of gone 10 years ago, but I was too proud! I would like to say Thank you to Rhonda and to my husband
who help me through with there loving words.

Dear Rhonda,

I just thanked the friend who steered me in the direction of your business, and now I must say thanks to you.

The hearing aids have been with me well over a month now and they certainly make a difference in my ability
to hear, best of all, the sounds of nature again, but also people's voices, music, TV.  They are responsible for
my regaining the confidence in myself that I used to have. Without proper hearing I felt incapable of contributing
to conversations, ill-equipped to make decisions, isolated. This has changed. I hope it's not the "over confidence
(that) leads to disaster." I think not. Thank you.

And thank you for your patience and kindness.

During my military service, I was exposed to a variety of conditions that slowly led to a decrease in hearing and
sound discrimination.  Having retired from military life more than 12 years ago, and with continuing problems with
hearing, it was recently  determined that I should have audio aids.  With some advice, from others who had similar
experience, I chose Rhonda Findlay of KV Hearing Centre Inc. to assess my needs and provide the necessary
products.

I am pleased to inform any who would have need of such devices, that KV Hearing Centre, in a most professional
way and in a timely manner satisfied all of my requirements.  I have superb “Siemens” devices that are almost
invisible to others, they work superbly and I can now hear things that I have long ago forgotten the sound of.
Each day I am surprised at the sounds around me.  I remain most grateful to Rhonda Findlay and the KV Hearing
Centre.
